Merletta is a colouring app. We try to collect as little about you as possible, and this page says plainly what is collected and why.
In short. We do not ask you to sign up, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. In the current version of the app your drawings and finished works stay on your device and are not sent anywhere. We do collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports — both can be turned off in the app's settings.

Both kinds of collection are on when you first open the app and can be turned off in the settings at any time. Once off, nothing more is sent.
We are considering an optional sync of your works between devices, so that picking up another phone would show what you have been colouring. That would require storing your works on a server and recognising you somehow, for example by email address.
None of this exists in the app yet. When it does, we will update this page in advance, ask for your separate consent, and keep the sync genuinely optional: if you would rather not, everything stays as it is now — on your device.
Statistics and crash reports are processed by Google services (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf; the servers are in Google's data centres. We do not share or sell the data to anyone else.
Statistics are kept in Firebase Analytics no longer than the service's retention setting allows (two months for events by default). Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. We keep no separate database of users: there is nothing to put in it.
Since we do not know who you are and store nothing that could identify you, a formal request to access or erase data is usually unnecessary. What you can do:
The app is not intended for children under 13 and is not directed at them. We deliberately do not collect any information about age.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
