Terms of Use

By installing and opening Merletta you agree to these terms. If something here does not suit you, please do not use the app.

1. What we grant

We allow you to install the app on your devices and use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. This permission is free of charge, non-exclusive, and may be withdrawn if you break these terms.

2. The pictures in the app

All drawings, outlines, colour schemes and images in the app belong to Merletta Art or are used with the permission of their rights holders. You may:

colour them in the app as much as you like;
save your finished works and share them — on social networks, in messengers, wherever you wish; we are glad when you do.

What you may not do:

sell our pictures — neither the originals, nor coloured versions, nor as part of other products;
print them for sale: on shirts, cards, in colouring books, anywhere else;
extract the picture files from the app and distribute them separately;
present our pictures as your own.

Your coloured work is the result of your effort and we make no claim to it. The underlying outline remains ours, however, so commercial use of the work as a whole needs our written permission. Write to us if you need that — we will discuss it.

3. The app itself

Please do not take the app apart, decompile it, circumvent its technical restrictions or extract its contents other than by using it normally. Do not distribute modified builds.

4. If you believe your rights are infringed

If you think a picture in the app infringes your copyright, write to support@merletta.art and tell us:

which picture exactly (its name or a screenshot);
what you believe it copies, with a link to the original;
who you are and on what basis you represent the rights holder;
how to contact you.

We will review your message and reply. While we look into it we may temporarily remove the picture from the catalogue — that is ordinary caution, not an admission.

5. Warranties

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to make it work well, but we cannot promise it will never break, never lose your work, or suit any purpose you have in mind. Keep copies of what matters to you: save finished works to your device's gallery.

6. Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit or loss of data arising from your use of the app, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Changes

These terms may change. A new version is published on this page with a new date; significant changes are also shown in the app. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the new version.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes that cannot be settled by correspondence are heard by the courts of Estonia. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given by the law of your country of residence.
